Pesnica MNK's Miko Plazl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitrije Judnič in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, NK Trnova's Milanko Brinar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miko Plazl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vojteh Šutej fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florijan Premuš having to interfere. NK Trnova's Florijan Premuš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vojteh Šutej in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Ramon Lenard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pesnica MNK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NK Trnova the free kick. In the 36th match minute, Pesnica MNK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Lenard to maneuver through the defense. Dimitrije Judnič recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The wind increased when Dimitrije Judnič made the kick off in the second half. Vojteh Šutej received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Florijan Premuš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Livio Tajnšek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vojteh Šutej sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Florijan Premuš went to the wrong direction when Januš Železnik was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Livio Tajnšek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Miko Plazl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miko Plazl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milanko Brinar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, NK Trnova's goalkeeper Florijan Premuš had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vojteh Šutej. After 82 minutes, Julijan Marič mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NK Trnova and the Pesnica MNK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vojteh Šutej got free with Florijan Premuš in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Pesnica MNK booed when NK Trnova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julijan Marič didn't get a good kick on the ball.
