Spectators: 6808 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1808, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rado Zarnik kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Irenej Vene recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mustafa Sterle. Irenej Vene showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Evgen Kosem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Perica Rehar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evgenij Perović who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Mustafa Sterle when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vitomir Kumer kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Mustafa Sterle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evgenij Perović in the 12th minute. Perica Rehar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rado Zarnik in the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match, Irenej Vene tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mustafa Sterle saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evgenij Perović got free with Mustafa Sterle in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Podlehnik MNK's Mustafa Sterle got control of the ball when Evgenij Perović tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evgenij Perović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mustafa Sterle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Preddvor were awarded a corner. Vladimir Molih went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Preddvor's Delzi Žalec getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Evgenij Perović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Sterle having to interfere. Podlehnik MNK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Irenej Vene 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Irenej Vene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evgen Kosem's late challenge caught a Preddvor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evgen Kosem helped the player get up and apologised. Vladimir Molih, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Evgenij Perović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustafa Sterle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irenej Vene in the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Podlehnik MNK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Preddvor:s goal. Mustafa Sterle had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Vladimir Molih's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 61st minute Evgenij Perović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Sterle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irenej Vene fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Sterle having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Evgenij Perović made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Podlehnik MNK's Mustafa Sterle tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Podlehnik MNK's goal looked a bit too open when Evgenij Perović came free, but Mustafa Sterle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Rado Zarnik kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Perica Rehar. That made the score 4-1 in the 74 minute of play. Mustafa Sterle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irenej Vene in the 77th minute of play. Irenej Vene fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Sterle having to interfere. Mustafa Sterle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evgenij Perović's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. If Evgenij Perović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Evgenij Perović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Sterle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
