Nevij Žefran helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute Nevij Žefran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Skok saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Helmut Hegler scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mergim Horjak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Devin Hadžić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Helmut Hegler came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Zagorje ob Savi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helmut Hegler couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
