Lado Bogomolec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miodrag Begić having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Lado Bogomolec's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miodrag Begić was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Miodrag Begić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lado Bogomolec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desan Klar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Juventus's goal looked a bit too open when Desan Klar came free, but Miodrag Begić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrej Šoln hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. A collision led to Braslovče getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Meta Babić hit a great ball. Lado Bogomolec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Miodrag Begić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Braslovče's Desan Klar got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Juventus's goal looked a bit too open when Desan Klar came free, but Miodrag Begić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Adrijano Ozimek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Štefko Lukanović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Desan Klar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Braslovče fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Desan Klar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrijano Ozimek struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Štefko Lukanović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus. After the first half Braslovče were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lado Bogomolec to strike the kick off in the second half. Miodrag Begić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lado Bogomolec in the 56th minute of the match. Miodrag Begić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Desan Klar in the 58th minute. Miodrag Begić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lado Bogomolec in the 59th minute of play. If Desan Klar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lado Bogomolec blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miodrag Begić having to make a save. Desan Klar might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miodrag Begić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Desan Klar ran back to his position shaking his head. 68 minutes into the match, Juventus's goal looked a bit too open when Lado Bogomolec came free, but Miodrag Begić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Štefko Lukanović was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Conič in the 77th minute of play forced Juventus's goalkeeper Miodrag Begić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Desan Klar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 78th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus's zone, Desan Klar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miodrag Begić came out of the goal and Desan Klar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miodrag Begić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lado Bogomolec in the 88th minute of play. Juventus's Miodrag Begić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lado Bogomolec in the 90th minute of play. Meta Babić hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Juventus fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! The Juventus fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Braslovče were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
