Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Irenej Kamenšek took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Urban Puh came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Ivančna Gorica NK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urban Puh couldn't finish the play. Bohinj ND's Irenej Kamenšek got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Žani Lavrinc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Bohinj ND booed when Ivančna Gorica NK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sonny Švent didn't get a good kick on the ball. Irenej Kamenšek took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ludvik Vrhovec. Ludvik Vrhovec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 29 played minutes Ivančna Gorica NK got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Švent. 33 minutes into the match, Ismail Zdešar notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bohinj ND's Garbor Horvat. Garbor Horvat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Garbor Horvat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urban Puh, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Ismail Zdešar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Garbor Horvat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garbor Horvat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urban Puh in the 42nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Urban Puh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ivančna Gorica NK's supporters rose to their feet, but Urban Puh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garbor Horvat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urban Puh was the one to do the kick off. Bohinj ND's Garbor Horvat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismail Zdešar in the 53rd minute of play. Irenej Kamenšek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludvik Vrhovec having to interfere. Ismail Zdešar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garbor Horvat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismail Zdešar in the 66th minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, Bohinj ND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stjepan Pevec to maneuver through the defense. Martin Kršinar, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Žani Lavrinc got free with Ludvik Vrhovec in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rastislav Kelenc hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Bohinj ND defense, Ismail Zdešar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Garbor Horvat. The Bohinj ND fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Garbor Horvat should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute Ismail Zdešar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garbor Horvat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irenej Kamenšek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irenej Kamenšek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ludvik Vrhovec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivančna Gorica NK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
