Spectators: 6804 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1804, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kemal Arnuš took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludovik Glavnik in the 3rd minute of play forced Dol pri Ljubljani's goalkeeper Života Slovša to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Ignac Dobrišek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kemal Arnuš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferdo Metzkar charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdo Metzkar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dol pri Ljubljani's Života Slovša played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Draš Ramšak in the 18th minute of play. Ludovik Glavnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Života Slovša having to interfere. In the 26th minute Ludovik Glavnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Života Slovša saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 minutes, Draš Ramšak made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Dol pri Ljubljani's Života Slovša tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With 33 minutes on the clock, Ignac Dobrišek commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Leopold Sušnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Života Slovša having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Loris Mihelčič managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dol pri Ljubljani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loris Mihelčič was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Polde Lavrinc hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ludovik Glavnik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Života Slovša having to make a save. If Ludovik Glavnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th match minute, Dol pri Ljubljani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naim Beranič to maneuver through the defense. Kemal Arnuš blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerko Urbanc having to make a save. Jerko Urbanc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kemal Arnuš in the 62nd minute of play. Jerko Urbanc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loris Mihelčič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Loris Mihelčič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Polde Lavrinc kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dol pri Ljubljani's goalkeeper Života Slovša, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 73 played minutes Dol pri Ljubljani got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Mavri. Loris Mihelčič recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Polde Lavrinc notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Dol pri Ljubljani's Života Slovša. Života Slovša was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 90th minute Loris Mihelčič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerko Urbanc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naklo's Jerko Urbanc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loris Mihelčič in the 96th minute of play.
