Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kemal Arnuš got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rdth minute of the game Kemal Arnuš who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ascendant's Alojzij Gracar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alojzij Gracar was a little too slow when Kemal Arnuš got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. Loris Mihelčič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alojzij Gracar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kemal Arnuš in the 12th minute of play. Bruno Mavri had several of the Ascendant's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Alojzij Gracar as he didn't even see the shot coming. Kemal Arnuš struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Alojzij Gracar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dol pri Ljubljani. Goce Alič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Života Slovša having to interfere. Alojzij Gracar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kemal Arnuš, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Alojzij Gracar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Loris Mihelčič went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Kemal Arnuš's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alojzij Gracar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Abdulaziz Mokotar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ascendant's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dol pri Ljubljani the free kick. After 33 played minutes Ascendant got a freekick which was hit by Abdulaziz Mokotar. Loris Mihelčič recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dol pri Ljubljani's Kemal Arnuš got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ascendant's Alojzij Gracar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Ascendant from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Dol pri Ljubljani booed when Ascendant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Čedomir Simon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Loris Mihelčič managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dol pri Ljubljani's supporters rose to their feet, but Loris Mihelčič was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alojzij Gracar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miko Klockl got free with Života Slovša in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ascendant's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kemal Arnuš was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Loris Mihelčič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Kemal Arnuš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alojzij Gracar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kemal Arnuš struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Alojzij Gracar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dol pri Ljubljani. If Loris Mihelčič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Života Slovša showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Goce Alič in the 97th minute of the match.
