The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Đerat Arnšek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Loški potok's Ramon Resnik dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 18 minutes into the game, Đerat Arnšek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Vlado Škrlec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mirjan Bertole received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Mitar Strasner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Loški potok getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Boštjan Čretnik hit a great ball. Đerat Arnšek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlado Škrlec having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game Samir Pemič who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kozina ND's Vlado Škrlec was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rdth minute of the game Đerat Arnšek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kozina ND's Vlado Škrlec was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Vlado Škrlec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Đerat Arnšek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Đerat Arnšek in the 59th minute of play forced Kozina ND's goalkeeper Vlado Škrlec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Edvard Zgonc fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kozina ND's protests and gave Edvard Zgonc a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Kozina ND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvard Zgonc to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kozina ND's goalkeeper Vlado Škrlec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Jusuf Cvahte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loški potok fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 68th minute, Mirjan Bertole got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vlado Škrlec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jusuf Cvahte's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 79 minutes into the match, Kozina ND's goal looked a bit too open when Đerat Arnšek came free, but Vlado Škrlec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Đerat Arnšek succeeded in the game's 81st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Đerat Arnšek in the 88th minute of play forced Kozina ND's goalkeeper Vlado Škrlec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Mirjan Bertole managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kozina ND's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mirjan Bertole was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Boštjan Čretnik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loški potok's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kozina ND the free kick. After 95 played minutes Loški potok got a freekick which was hit by Boštjan Čretnik.
