Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dražen Krempl kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Miren-Kostanjevica FC's zone, Ladislav Jusić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinand Premk came out of the goal and Ladislav Jusić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miško Prah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janez Derlink, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute Janez Derlink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miško Prah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Miren-Kostanjevica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislav Jusić came free, but Ferdinand Premk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute of the match Ersan Marovt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferdinand Premk skillfully saved the ball. Ladislav Jusić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Premk having to interfere. In the 14thth minute of the game Dražen Krempl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miren-Kostanjevica FC's Ferdinand Premk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ordančo Gomboc in the 17th minute of play forced Žirovnica MNK's goalkeeper Miško Prah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Žirovnica MNK's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Debelak came free, but Miško Prah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miren-Kostanjevica FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Žirovnica MNK's Dražen Krempl got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chants of Miren-Kostanjevica FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Žirovnica MNK had held the ball for most of the match.
