All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Klavdijo Zuber made the kick off in the second half. Alexander Maslovarić made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Nasan Harih sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Nasan Harih kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alexander Maslovarić. That made the score 1-1 in the 52 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ruše NK's zone, Gianpaolo Glušič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Maslovarić came out of the goal and Gianpaolo Glušič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruše NK's Alexander Maslovarić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Ruše NK from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Ruše NK booed when Cerklje na Gorenjskem NK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miško Sojer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avrelio Posedel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melvin Knežević's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ruše NK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cerklje na Gorenjskem NK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
