Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reinhard Kranjčević in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdinand Premk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6thth minute of the game Miha Paurič who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miren-Kostanjevica FC's Ferdinand Premk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miren-Kostanjevica FC's Ferdinand Premk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinhard Kranjčević in the 7th minute of play. Reinhard Kranjčević received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ferdinand Premk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdinand Premk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miha Paurič's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Radovljica's Miro Petač proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Radovljica from getting a goal against them. Ferdinand Premk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miha Paurič in the 25th minute of play. Reinhard Kranjčević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Premk having to interfere. Ferdinand Premk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miha Paurič went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Radovljica's Miha Paurič got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reinhard Kranjčević received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ferdinand Premk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Miren-Kostanjevica FC's Janez Derlink got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Miha Paurič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The referee ignored Radovljica's protests and gave Dragomir Golli a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Radovljica getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Dragomir Golli hit a great ball. Damir Mihajloski's late challenge caught a Radovljica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damir Mihajloski helped the player get up and apologised. 82 minutes into the game, one of Miren-Kostanjevica FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 84 minutes, Radovljica's Srčan Koman got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ferdinand Premk. Slavček Žonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ordančo Gomboc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Miro Petač tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Miren-Kostanjevica FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Radovljica were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
