But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislav Jusić couldn't finish the play. Miško Prah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Žarko Preželj in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Žarko Preželj left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tabor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tabor's Damjan Peklenk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Tabor from getting a goal against them. Miško Prah came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tabor's Vid Colavini. But to his dismay, Vid Colavini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dražen Krempl made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Tabor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vid Colavini to maneuver through the defense. Tabor's Damjan Peklenk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislav Jusić in the 53rd minute of play. Venčeslav Žebovec's late challenge caught a Tabor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jurček Lamut took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Miško Prah. Žirovnica MNK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dražen Krempl in the 87th minute of play forced Tabor's goalkeeper Damjan Peklenk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
