Spectators: 6788 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Miodrag Podgorelec kicked off to start the match. When Milanko Hribar came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Brezovica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milanko Hribar couldn't finish the play. After 3 played minutes Izola got a freekick which was hit by Irfan Gregorič. 5 minutes into the match, Izola's goalkeeper Din Kremenović had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milanko Hribar. Milanko Hribar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute Julijan Trivković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asmir Hribernik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Julijan Trivković came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Izola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julijan Trivković couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Pavle Buček managed to get in a good position for a shot. Izola's supporters rose to their feet, but Pavle Buček was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asmir Hribernik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 24 minutes, Christian Šetina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Izola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Šetina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Julijan Trivković ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Asmir Hribernik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Asmir Hribernik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavle Buček in the 29th minute of play. With a little luck, Izola's Din Kremenović got control of the ball when Milanko Hribar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julijan Trivković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asmir Hribernik having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Asmir Hribernik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julijan Trivković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pavle Buček struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Asmir Hribernik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Izola. 64 minutes into the match, Brezovica's goal looked a bit too open when Julijan Trivković came free, but Asmir Hribernik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miodrag Podgorelec in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Din Kremenović saved Izola from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Pavle Buček managed to get in a good position for a shot. Izola's supporters rose to their feet, but Pavle Buček was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asmir Hribernik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the match, Izola's Julijan Trivković sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Asmir Hribernik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Miodrag Podgorelec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Izola's Din Kremenović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miodrag Podgorelec in the 89th minute of play. Brezovica's Asmir Hribernik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Brezovica from getting a goal against them. In the 97th minute, Pavle Buček left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Izola fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Izola eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
