Stiven Korunovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Tibor Iglič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Senožeče FC's Ludovik Pepel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Senožeče FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stiven Korunovski during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st minute, Stiven Korunovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Slovenska Bistrica FC's zone, Damiano Slak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tibor Iglič came out of the goal and Damiano Slak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Damiano Slak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ludovik Pepel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomi Krebelj in the 38th minute. After 63 played minutes Slovenska Bistrica FC got a freekick which was hit by Bojči Klopčar. Tomi Krebelj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. In the 93rd match minute, Senožeče FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milutin Damjan to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Senožeče FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Kisilak came free, but Ludovik Pepel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tibor Iglič didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juvencij Gregori went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
