When Mijodrag Kalin fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dobrunje FC's protests and gave Mijodrag Kalin a yellow card for diving instead. Mijodrag Kalin kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. When Tomi Krebelj came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Slovenska Bistrica FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomi Krebelj couldn't finish the play. Dobrunje FC's Isen Markulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Kisilak in the 7th minute of play. Tibor Iglič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vanja Moder in the 10th minute of the match. If Jean Jošt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tibor Iglič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vanja Moder, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Tibor Iglič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Jošt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Claudio Kisilak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isen Markulin was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Slovenska Bistrica FC's Claudio Kisilak dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Claudio Kisilak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dobrunje FC's Jean Jošt in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Slovenska Bistrica FC's goalie prevented a goal. Roggers Dobrišek hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Tomi Krebelj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 played minutes Slovenska Bistrica FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Ježek. Jean Jošt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jean Jošt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Tibor Iglič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Vanja Moder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibor Iglič having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Vanja Moder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tibor Iglič came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Dobrunje FC's Jean Jošt. But to his dismay, Jean Jošt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Tibor Iglič stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vanja Moder's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 69thth minute of the game Claudio Kisilak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dobrunje FC's Isen Markulin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 70 played minutes Dobrunje FC got a freekick which was hit by Panto Vrančić. 73 minutes into the match, Tomi Krebelj had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isen Markulin. Dobrunje FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomi Krebelj was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. A collision led to Slovenska Bistrica FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Arnaldo Ježek hit a great ball. Jean Jošt hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Slovenska Bistrica FC's Tibor Iglič proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Slovenska Bistrica FC from getting a goal against them. Tibor Iglič was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Vanja Moder capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vanja Moder really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Tomi Krebelj blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isen Markulin having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vanja Moder in the 97th minute of play forced Slovenska Bistrica FC's goalkeeper Tibor Iglič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
