Spectators: 6789 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lorči Vogrinčič got the match started through his kick off. Srdžan Zadnikar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorči Vogrinčič, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Pero Ahlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vero Ivnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Lukovica ND's zone, Lorči Vogrinčič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Srdžan Zadnikar came out of the goal and Lorči Vogrinčič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bane Zupet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Srdžan Zadnikar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Srdžan Zadnikar stood somewhat misplaced when Bane Zupet came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 33 minute. Dino Gaberšek kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The corner led Lukovica ND's Milivoj Kebe to fire away a dangerous shot which Pero Ahlin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Preddvor's Lorči Vogrinčič got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vero Ivnik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pero Ahlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vero Ivnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Milivoj Kebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Preddvor's Pero Ahlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Preddvor from getting a goal against them. Vero Ivnik received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pero Ahlin came out and tried to block the shot, but Vero Ivnik slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Preddvor's zone, Vero Ivnik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pero Ahlin came out of the goal and Vero Ivnik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Milanko Drobež managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lukovica ND's supporters rose to their feet, but Milanko Drobež was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pero Ahlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arsen Škulj charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsen Škulj the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd match minute, Preddvor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsen Škulj to maneuver through the defense. Pero Ahlin came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lukovica ND's Vero Ivnik. But to his dismay, Vero Ivnik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvester Blatnik during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Silvester Blatnik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bane Zupet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Preddvor supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lukovica ND's performance. The match ended with a win for Lukovica ND.
