After a rather tough play, Vrtojba ND's Vero Ograjšek got a free kick in the 4th minute. Todor Drevenšek struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Isen Rogelj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Črna na Koroškem. Vrtojba ND's Isen Rogelj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Trplan in the 13th minute of play. If Todor Drevenšek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Vrtojba ND's Isen Rogelj got control of the ball when Todor Drevenšek tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute, Jonathan Cepec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Todor Drevenšek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Isen Rogelj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Trplan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isen Rogelj made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Jonathan Cepec sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vrtojba ND fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! Sašo Topolovec placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Trplan in the 55th minute of play forced Vrtojba ND's goalkeeper Isen Rogelj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mitar Jutriša came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Vrtojba ND fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mitar Jutriša couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todor Drevenšek in the 59th minute of play forced Vrtojba ND's goalkeeper Isen Rogelj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Filip Trplan notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Vrtojba ND's Isen Rogelj. Isen Rogelj was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Trplan in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isen Rogelj saved Vrtojba ND from getting behind. Črna na Koroškem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip Trplan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filip Trplan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isen Rogelj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todor Drevenšek in the 74th minute of play.
