Kai Skakić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Srečo Porčić in the 17th minute of play. Piero Herodež received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Salih Naprudnik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Srečo Porčić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Srečo Porčić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerkno ND's supporters crossed their fingers, but Srečo Porčić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Slavko Šalamija's late challenge caught a Anhovo MNK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Slavko Šalamija helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Anhovo MNK booed when Cerkno ND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Zdravko Oraže fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cerkno ND's protests and gave Zdravko Oraže a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Anhovo MNK booed when Cerkno ND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zdravko Oraže didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Piero Herodež hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Piero Herodež was the one to do the kick off. Srečo Porčić in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
