An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasan Belšak in the 8th minute of play forced Ribnica's goalkeeper Deny Vojković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Guido Poročnik made a precise shot to the right of Srđan Abazović. Primorje Wajdusna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Ibrahim Mešič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvis Abazović kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Hasan Belšak struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Primorje Wajdusna's Srđan Abazović proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Primorje Wajdusna from getting a goal against them. After 31 played minutes Primorje Wajdusna got a freekick which was hit by Jurček Kolonič. Jurček Kolonič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hasan Belšak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ribnica's Deny Vojković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hasan Belšak in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Hasan Belšak made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Hasan Belšak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deny Vojković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florijan Fašun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deny Vojković having to interfere. Jurček Kolonič recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Dušan Širme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florijan Fašun was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Srđan Abazović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Poročnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Ribnica booed when Primorje Wajdusna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florijan Fašun didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Primorje Wajdusna getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Alan Goršič hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Guido Poročnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Srđan Abazović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jurček Kolonič was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Srđan Abazović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Poročnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 78 played minutes Primorje Wajdusna got a freekick which was hit by Alan Goršič. In the 82ndth minute of the game Hasan Belšak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ribnica's Deny Vojković was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Srđan Abazović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Poročnik in the 85th minute of play. If Jurček Kolonič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st minute, Alan Goršič got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Despite being the better team, Primorje Wajdusna failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
