Kristifor Knez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Dražan Ferizović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daš Bobnar struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Time Kastelic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celje Crowns. In the 9th minute, Alfons Grm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Time Kastelic was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 14th minute Daš Bobnar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Time Kastelic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes, Venancij Škofljanec mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NK Visoko and the Celje Crowns players grew even worse after the yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfons Grm to make the kick off. A collision led to NK Visoko getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Emilijan Švab hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match, Daš Bobnar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Time Kastelic was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Chants of Celje Crowns echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as NK Visoko had held the ball for most of the match.
