Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rosando Cener took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes NK Brinje got a freekick which was hit by Michael Narobe. Silvan Dečman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lari Junuzović having to interfere. Damiano Pejčić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosando Cener's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Silvan Dečman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brown Bears's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvan Dečman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lari Junuzović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 30 played minutes NK Brinje got a freekick which was hit by Bore Prusnik. Brown Bears's Čedo Vogrinčič got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvan Dečman might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lari Junuzović. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvan Dečman ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Čedo Vogrinčič in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lari Junuzović prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute, Silvan Dečman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brown Bears fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Rosando Cener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brown Bears's Damiano Pejčić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Brown Bears from getting a goal against them. After the first half Brown Bears were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvan Dečman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Damiano Pejčić came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by NK Brinje's Rosando Cener. But to his dismay, Rosando Cener quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 68 played minutes NK Brinje got a freekick which was hit by Michael Narobe. Rosando Cener scored 2-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damiano Pejčić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Rosando Cener managed to get in a good position for a shot. NK Brinje's supporters rose to their feet, but Rosando Cener was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damiano Pejčić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. NK Brinje's Rosando Cener got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Rosando Cener's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damiano Pejčić was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
