The audience thought a goal was coming when Vojo Derča got free with Lari Junuzović in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Boston University booed when NK Brinje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bore Prusnik didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, NK Brinje's goal looked a bit too open when Davorin Kruljac came free, but Lari Junuzović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lari Junuzović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bert Tomič in the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Juraj Lampensberger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosando Cener fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marjan Čebulj having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Bore Prusnik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Boston University had played much better football throughout.
