Spectators: 7993 (Terracing: 5996, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 159) In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brown Bears's goalkeeper Damiano Pejčić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bem Bahč in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damiano Pejčić saved Brown Bears from getting behind. Brown Bears's Čedo Vogrinčič got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miha Lampensberger hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Bem Bahč charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bem Bahč the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th minute, Silvan Dečman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alaga Ožura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvan Dečman in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Stojan Jamšek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvan Dečman struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Alaga Ožura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brown Bears. Gabrijel Pograjc charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabrijel Pograjc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Gabrijel Pograjc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvan Dečman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Zdravko Verderber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newton Heath L&YR F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Zdravko Verderber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damiano Pejčić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zdravko Verderber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damiano Pejčić having to interfere. Bem Bahč sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Enis Štriker hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvan Dečman to strike the kick off in the second half. Zdravko Verderber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Čedo Vogrinčič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Silvan Dečman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damiano Pejčić made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Zdravko Verderber sent off a good shot on target. Alaga Ožura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvan Dečman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Čedo Vogrinčič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alaga Ožura having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvan Dečman in the 78th minute of play forced Newton Heath L&YR F.C's goalkeeper Alaga Ožura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvan Dečman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Alaga Ožura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Čedo Vogrinčič recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute Silvan Dečman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaga Ožura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabrijel Pograjc hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
