Time Kastelic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosando Cener, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. NK Brinje's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NK Visoko the free kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rosando Cener was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rosando Cener got free with Time Kastelic in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauricij Lenard during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, NK Brinje's Franz Judnič got a free kick in the 69th minute. After some careless play in the NK Visoko defense, Rosando Cener kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Time Kastelic. The NK Visoko fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Time Kastelic should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute Rosando Cener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Time Kastelic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosando Ceners short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Time Kastelic to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Rosando Cener could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Time Kastelic however easily saved by the left post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched NK Brinje eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
