Seating: 1852, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alfonz Lampreht kicked off to start the match. Gabrovka ND's Mirko Centa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricijo Äokić in the 3rd minute of play. Bert LoÄniÅ¡kar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Michael Camlek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Michael Camlek struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Mirko Centa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ljubljana. If Michael Camlek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bert LoÄniÅ¡kar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirko Centa having to interfere. Silvo Kaker's late challenge caught a Ljubljana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvo Kaker helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Gabrovka ND got a freekick which was hit by Silvo Kaker. 23 minutes into the match, Gabrovka ND's goalkeeper Mirko Centa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bert LoÄniÅ¡kar. 27 minutes into the match, Bert LoÄniÅ¡kar notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Gabrovka ND's Mirko Centa. Mirko Centa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mirko Centa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bert LoÄniÅ¡kar in the 35th minute. Mirko Centa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Camlek in the 40th minute of play. With his leg Mirko Centa managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Ljubljana's Bert LoÄniÅ¡kar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bert LoÄniÅ¡kar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirko Centa having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Michael Camlek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ljubljana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Camlek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 49th minute by Michael Camlek got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Michael Camlek made the kick off in the second half. If Michael Camlek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Bert LoÄniÅ¡kar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Michael Camlek came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ljubljana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Camlek couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gabrovka ND's goalkeeper Mirko Centa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Michael Camlek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bert LoÄniÅ¡kar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mirko Centa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bert LoÄniÅ¡kar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute Bert LoÄniÅ¡kar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirko Centa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gabrovka ND players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ljubljana.
