Spectators: 8029 (Terracing: 6023, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 160) Kobarid FC's Adem Čelebić started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Murat Kalin came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Mengeš fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murat Kalin couldn't finish the play. Murat Kalin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adis Nedižavec having to make a save. In the 9th minute, Emiljan Urbanič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Murat Kalin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Adis Nedižavec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milko Petrič received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Mengeš's Milko Petrič got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adis Nedižavec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milko Petrič in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute Murat Kalin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adis Nedižavec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murat Kalin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adis Nedižavec having to interfere. Adis Nedižavec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milko Petrič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 played minutes Mengeš got a freekick which was hit by Primož Biščak. 40 minutes into the match, Milko Petrič had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adis Nedižavec. Kobarid FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milko Petrič was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Murat Kalin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adis Nedižavec having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Milko Petrič stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Milko Petrič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Mengeš getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Kostja Zavadlav hit a great ball. Častislav Žerovnik hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Miklavž Cerar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radivoje Sivec having to make a save. Kobarid FC's Adis Nedižavec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Kobarid FC from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the match, Mengeš's goal looked a bit too open when Miklavž Cerar came free, but Radivoje Sivec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adem Čelebić in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radivoje Sivec saved Mengeš from getting behind. Adem Čelebić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radivoje Sivec having to interfere. Adem Čelebić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Radivoje Sivec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murat Kalin got free with Adis Nedižavec in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 79 minutes, Milko Petrič managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mengeš's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milko Petrič was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Častislav Žerovnik took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adis Nedižavec. Adis Nedižavec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Adis Nedižavec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milko Petrič in the 88th minute of the match. Radivoje Sivec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miklavž Cerar in the 90th minute of play. Adem Čelebić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Radivoje Sivec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th play minute Murat Kalin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Adis Nedižavec. 0-3. The Kobarid FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mengeš were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
