Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Maj Šlaher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medvode's supporters rose to their feet, but Maj Šlaher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aleksa Krupenko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ožbe Krševan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksa Krupenko having to interfere. Medvode's attack was well implemented in the 38th minute, but when Maj Šlaher was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Ožbe Krševan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Aleksa Krupenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentino Primar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Rojnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Voranc Žnidar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentino Primar having to interfere. After some careless play in the Medvode defense, Ferdinand Rojnik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentino Primar. The Medvode fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentino Primar should have stopped the shot. The supporters of NK VIOLE booed when Medvode was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Hribovšek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Medvode's Lovrenc Šilc got a free kick in the 74th minute. NK VIOLE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Savin Lisjak in the 77th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Voranc Žnidar during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes NK VIOLE got a freekick which was hit by Voranc Žnidar. With a little luck, NK VIOLE's Aleksa Krupenko got control of the ball when Maj Šlaher tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ferdinand Rojnik came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the NK VIOLE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinand Rojnik couldn't finish the play. When Rene Bovcon fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NK VIOLE's protests and gave Rene Bovcon a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, NK VIOLE's Rene Bovcon got a free kick in the 98th minute. The Medvode supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Medvode would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
