Borovnica NK's Pavli Jeromel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vanja Cenkar in the 43rd minute of play. Nedeljko Bilanče fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavli Jeromel having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zvone Žukovec to make the kick off. Fighters and Defenders's Andrej Matjaž played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marjo Florjančič in the 55th minute of play. Andrej Matjaž made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marjo Florjančič in the 62nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roko Abazovski during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Fighters and Defenders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roko Abazovski to maneuver through the defense.
