Ante Tepe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Albin Kolar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Kodre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Filip Dragan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ante Tepe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ante Tepe made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Damjan Kunej sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the match, Tabor's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Dragan came free, but Ante Tepe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filip Dragan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ante Tepe came out and tried to block the shot, but Filip Dragan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 27th minute. Toma Cepec hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Radgona MNK's Damjan Kunej got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With his leg Giovanni Kodre managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Tabor's Albin Kolar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Albin Kolar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Giovanni Kodre when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Damjan Kunej struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Ante Tepe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Radgona MNK. Radgona MNK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Tabor had controlled the match.
