In the 10th minute Kornelij Radovanović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrej Matjaž saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Narciz Senčar in the 13th minute really tested Andrej Matjaž's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Andrej Matjaž made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kornelij Radovanović in the 15th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, NK Plitvo Morje's goal looked a bit too open when Vanja Cenkar came free, but Nicholas Ljubeljšek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrej Matjaž stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kornelij Radovanović's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The supporters of NK Plitvo Morje booed when Fighters and Defenders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nedeljko Bilanče didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fighters and Defenders's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bor Tratnik ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on NK Plitvo Morje's corner Bor Tratnik fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andrej Matjaž quite easily take care of the ball. When the referee ended the match the NK Plitvo Morje players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
