Valentino Hostnik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Adriano Bržan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jošt Zajšek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladko Mlinarič having to make a save. Adriano Bržan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Vladko Mlinarič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladko Mlinarič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Bržan in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute, NK Haloze's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arpad Brumen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 76th minute, Valentino Hostnik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 77 minutes, Jošt Zajšek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NK Haloze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jošt Zajšek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute Valentino Hostnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drago Kodrič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. NK Laško Pivovar's Arpad Brumen got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Drago Kodrič stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentino Hostnik's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Drago Kodrič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentino Hostnik in the 91st minute of the match. Adriano Bržan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladko Mlinarič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jošt Zajšek, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 97th minute Henrik Žabkar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladko Mlinarič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to NK Laško Pivovar getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Goražd Kureš hit a great ball. The NK Laško Pivovar players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented NK Haloze from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
