Častislav Šiberle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vanja Orosel. LoÅ¡ki potok NK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. LoÅ¡ki potok NK's Vanja Orosel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save LoÅ¡ki potok NK from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind LoÅ¡ki potok NK's goalkeeper Vanja Orosel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, LoÅ¡ki potok NK's goalkeeper Vanja Orosel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arpad Brumen. 35 minutes into the match, LoÅ¡ki potok NK's goal looked a bit too open when Valentino Hostnik came free, but Vanja Orosel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladko Mlinarič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilijano Podlipec in the 36th minute of play. When Jakec Jernejc came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the LoÅ¡ki potok NK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakec Jernejc couldn't finish the play. If Jakec Jernejc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladko Mlinarič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilijano Podlipec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentino Hostnik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arpad Brumen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arpad Brumen in the 63rd minute of play forced LoÅ¡ki potok NK's goalkeeper Vanja Orosel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakec Jernejcs short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Vladko Mlinarič to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 67 minutes, Adam Zgonc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NK Laško Pivovar and the LoÅ¡ki potok NK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, NK Laško Pivovar's Adam Zgonc got a free kick in the 67th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Goražd Kureš was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NK Laško Pivovar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LoÅ¡ki potok NK the free kick. Goražd Kureš kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Vladko Mlinarič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilijano Podlipec in the 76th minute of the match. Vanja Orosel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentino Hostnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Jakec Jernejc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Vladko Mlinarič made a huge save. Emilijano Podlipec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LoÅ¡ki potok NK's Jakec Jernejc got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
