After a rather tough play, Šempeter pri Gorici FC's Draš Berce got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Draš Berce hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaber Burnić in the 39th minute of play forced Šempeter pri Gorici FC's goalkeeper Mehmedalija Podobnik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mirna FC booed when Šempeter pri Gorici FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Svet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ivan Gratzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Ivan Gratzer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mehmedalija Podobnik. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 74th minute of the match Lilijan Jodl sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gregorij Volmut skillfully saved the ball. Draš Berce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Oktavij Strnad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Šempeter pri Gorici FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oktavij Strnad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorij Volmut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oktavij Strnad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oktavij Strnad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Draš Berce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Šempeter pri Gorici FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mirna FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Mirna FC.
