Cerkno MNK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krsta Hvala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the game, Gojmir Cergol threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cerkno MNK's Krsta Hvala quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Saško Udrih received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tomislav Prevoršek came out and tried to block the shot, but Saško Udrih slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Omar Požeg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Tomislav Prevoršek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Grad's Tomislav Prevoršek got control of the ball when Avgust Krmelj tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djordjo Peterca in the 19th minute of play forced Cerkno MNK's goalkeeper Lorenzo Krempl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Omar Požeg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomislav Prevoršek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Požeg succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bore Vukićević in the 32nd minute of play forced Cerkno MNK's goalkeeper Lorenzo Krempl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Omar Požeg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomislav Prevoršek was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Vitan Bremše kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Avrelio Burjak hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Andrej Stipanič might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomislav Prevoršek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrej Stipanič ran back to his position shaking his head. After 56 minutes, Saško Udrih made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Grad's Tomislav Prevoršek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saško Udrih in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomislav Prevoršek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute, Valter Randl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Avgust Krmelj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomislav Prevoršek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Požeg, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 96th minute, Valter Randl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomislav Prevoršek was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. There was no doubt that Cerkno MNK were the better team. Cerkno MNK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
