Spectators: 7812 (Terracing: 5964, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 20) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ivan Gratzer started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Mirna FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ivan Gratzer hit a great ball. Saip Askeroğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tian Strle went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Niki Bučar had several of the Mirna FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 15 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Gregorij Volmut as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gregorij Volmut was a little too slow when Branivoj Šesek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 2-1. Gregorij Volmut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Branivoj Šesek in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Mirna FC booed when Bistrica ob Sotli NK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaroslav Krznar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregorij Volmut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Branivoj Šesek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Branivoj Šesek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Gregorij Volmut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaber Burnić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saip Askeroğlu having to interfere.

The wind increased when Branivoj Šesek made the kick off in the second half. Gregorij Volmut came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Bistrica ob Sotli NK's Branivoj Šesek. But to his dismay, Branivoj Šesek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 63rd minute, Migel Turnšek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute Mirna FC were awarded a corner. Đino Džekič went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 71st match minute, Mirna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Đino Džekič to maneuver through the defense. If Niki Bučar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorij Volmut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Branivoj Šesek in the 76th minute of the match. Novica Dragovan hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Gregorij Volmut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Branivoj Šesek in the 81st minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Bistrica ob Sotli NK's goalkeeper Saip Askeroğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaber Burnić. After a defensive mix-up in Mirna FC's zone, Jaroslav Krznar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorij Volmut came out of the goal and Jaroslav Krznar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Niki Bučar notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Mirna FC's Gregorij Volmut. Gregorij Volmut was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Tian Strle came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Mirna FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tian Strle couldn't finish the play. Bistrica ob Sotli NK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
