Spectators: 6838 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Grad booed when Gusari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bojči Renko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomislav Prevoršek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksej Mešič in the 6th minute of the match. When Zijad Štepec came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Gusari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zijad Štepec couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gusari's goalkeeper Borislav Semprimožnik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Gusari's goal looked a bit too open when Bore Vukićević came free, but Borislav Semprimožnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Grad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleks Kadić to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Otmar Rovtar could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Borislav Semprimožnik however easily saved by the left post. Zijad Štepec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomislav Prevoršek having to interfere. Borislav Semprimožnik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bore Vukićević in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gusari's Tihomir Verderber got a free kick in the 47th minute. Otmar Rovtar kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 49thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Gusari's keeper Borislav Semprimožnik was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aleksej Mešič to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Zijad Štepec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Bojči Renko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gusari's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grad the free kick. In the 55th minute, Bojči Renko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vanja Čepon, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bore Vukićević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borislav Semprimožnik having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Otmar Rovtar in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Borislav Semprimožnik saved Gusari from getting behind. 63 minutes into the match, Zijad Štepec notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Grad's Tomislav Prevoršek. Tomislav Prevoršek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 67 minutes into the match, Gusari's Aleksej Mešič sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomislav Prevoršek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Gusari's zone, Otmar Rovtar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Borislav Semprimožnik came out of the goal and Otmar Rovtar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 73 played minutes Gusari got a freekick which was hit by Avgust Vojković. Otmar Rovtar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Aleksej Mešič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gusari's zone, Bore Vukićević stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Borislav Semprimožnik came out of the goal and Bore Vukićević tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gusari's Bojči Renko got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Otmar Rovtar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gusari walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
