Mehmedalija Podobnik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aljaž Bovcon, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 20th minute, Lev Mihić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute Aljaž Bovcon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmedalija Podobnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Valon Klinec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismail Papež took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oktavij Strnad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klodian Bažec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ismail Papež tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aljaž Bovcon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oktavij Strnad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oktavij Strnad took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismail Papež. Ismail Papež dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After having played for 58 minutes, Lev Mihić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. StrazaTeam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lev Mihić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Šempeter pri Gorici FC's Mehmedalija Podobnik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Šempeter pri Gorici FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Šempeter pri Gorici FC's Demeter Pavlin got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Klodian Bažec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes StrazaTeam got a freekick which was hit by Suljo Vrbinc. Ismail Papež took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klodian Bažec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oktavij Strnad in the 82nd minute of play forced StrazaTeam's goalkeeper Ismail Papež to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oktavij Strnad in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismail Papež saved StrazaTeam from getting behind. Klodian Bažec took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismail Papež. Ismail Papež dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 88 minutes, Klodian Bažec mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Šempeter pri Gorici FC and the StrazaTeam players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ismail Papež showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klodian Bažec in the 90th minute of the match. Šempeter pri Gorici FC's Oktavij Strnad got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to StrazaTeam getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ćazim Kovič hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in StrazaTeam's zone, Oktavij Strnad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismail Papež came out of the goal and Oktavij Strnad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. StrazaTeam's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
