In the 5th minute Elvedin Križman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ardenko Valenčič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vedran Oplotnik struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Ardenko Valenčič didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tišina. Elvedin Križman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ardenko Valenčič having to make a save. Ardenko Valenčič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvedin Križman, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Ardenko Valenčič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvedin Križman in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Elvedin Križman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ardenko Valenčič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Sostro CF's Teo Špindler got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zlatko Šubelj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Paskal Pregrad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paskal Pregrad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Špindler in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute Vedran Oplotnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ardenko Valenčič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elvedin Križman was the one to do the kick off. Timothy Mason recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jano Rožman hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Elvedin Križman's late challenge caught a Real Sostro CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elvedin Križman helped the player get up and apologised. Paskal Pregrad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Špindler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timothy Mason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amir Karišik kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Vidko Gradin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Sostro CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Vidko Gradin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paskal Pregrad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teo Špindler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Paskal Pregrad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elvedin Križman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Zlatko Šubelj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teo Špindler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Paskal Pregrad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zlatko Šubelj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Teo Špindler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vedran Oplotnik's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Ardenko Valenčič skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Real Sostro CF players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
