Spectators: 7895 (Terracing: 6027, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 20) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Branivoj Šesek got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Omar Požeg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saip Askeroğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Avgust Krmelj notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bistrica ob Sotli NK's Saip Askeroğlu. Saip Askeroğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Požeg in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saip Askeroğlu saved Bistrica ob Sotli NK from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Avgust Krmelj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Bistrica ob Sotli NK's Niki Bučar got a free kick in the 13th minute. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Omar Požeg sped through Bistrica ob Sotli NK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Saip Askeroğlu. Saip Askeroğlu came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Cerkno MNK's Saško Udrih. But to his dismay, Saško Udrih quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Bistrica ob Sotli NK. Andželin Dim stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lorenzo Krempl. 1-3. If Saško Udrih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bistrica ob Sotli NK's zone, Saško Udrih stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saip Askeroğlu came out of the goal and Saško Udrih tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Omar Požeg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saip Askeroğlu having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Valter Randl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lorenzo Krempl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Slamnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Valter Randl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bistrica ob Sotli NK's Daniele Slamnik got a free kick in the 38th minute. A collision led to Cerkno MNK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Krsta Hvala hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Bistrica ob Sotli NK's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Požeg came free, but Saip Askeroğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Krsta Hvala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerkno MNK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krsta Hvala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaroslav Krznar during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

Valter Randl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saško Udrih had several of the Bistrica ob Sotli NK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Saip Askeroğlu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Krsta Hvala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saip Askeroğlu having to interfere. Omar Požeg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Bistrica ob Sotli NK's Jaroslav Krznar got a free kick in the 64th minute. Saško Udrih sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Saško Udrih notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Bistrica ob Sotli NK's Saip Askeroğlu. Saip Askeroğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd minute, Cerkno MNK's Saško Udrih ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Saip Askeroğlu. Saip Askeroğlu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Saško Udrih managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerkno MNK's supporters rose to their feet, but Saško Udrih was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saip Askeroğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Valter Randl kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Saip Askeroğlu. That made the score 1-7 in the 80 minute of play. Saip Askeroğlu had in the 84thth minute some difficulties stopping Saško Udrih's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Cerkno MNK's Miloš Čuk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Migel Turnšek, made in the 88th minute of the game. Cerkno MNK's Miloš Čuk got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Valter Randl fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Saip Askeroğlu, passed just outside the right post. When Omar Požeg came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Cerkno MNK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Požeg couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, Bistrica ob Sotli NK's goal looked a bit too open when Saško Udrih came free, but Saip Askeroğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cerkno MNK played a much better game than Bistrica ob Sotli NK and deserved their victory. The Bistrica ob Sotli NK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
