The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Elvedin Križman came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Tišina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvedin Križman couldn't finish the play. The Tišina fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Tišina's Elvedin Križman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 9 minutes into the match, Tišina's goal looked a bit too open when Niki Bučar came free, but Paskal Pregrad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niki Bučar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tišina's Paskal Pregrad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Branivoj Šesek in the 19th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Franz Sopotnik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tišina and the Bistrica ob Sotli NK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute of the match Andželin Dim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paskal Pregrad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vedran Oplotnik struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Saip Askeroğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tišina. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Vedran Oplotnik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paskal Pregrad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Branivoj Šesek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paskal Pregrad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elvedin Križman to make the kick off. Vinko Osojnik hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Vedran Oplotnik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Saip Askeroğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Elvedin Križman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 64 minutes into the game, Vedran Oplotnik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Saip Askeroğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Tišina's Paskal Pregrad got control of the ball when Niki Bučar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Tišina's Vedran Oplotnik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saip Askeroğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rdth minute of the game Vedran Oplotnik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bistrica ob Sotli NK's Saip Askeroğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kristjan Veber hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tišina! In the 86th minute Elvedin Križman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saip Askeroğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Branivoj Šesek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paskal Pregrad having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Tišina's goalkeeper Paskal Pregrad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niki Bučar. After 91 played minutes Tišina got a freekick which was hit by Jano Rožman. Branivoj Šesek received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paskal Pregrad came out and tried to block the shot, but Branivoj Šesek slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 97th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tišina fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bistrica ob Sotli NK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
