Gregorij Volmut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bore Vukićević in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Mirna FC's Gaber Burnić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomislav Prevoršek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tian Strle hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Gaber Burnić succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 15th playminute. After some careless play in the Mirna FC defense, Bore Vukićević kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregorij Volmut. The Mirna FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregorij Volmut should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaber Burnić in the 20th minute of play forced Grad's goalkeeper Tomislav Prevoršek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ivan Gratzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gregorij Volmut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bore Vukićević in the 26th minute of the match. Otmar Rovtar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gregorij Volmut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tian Strle hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Gaber Burnić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mirna FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaber Burnić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomislav Prevoršek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Djordjo Peterca during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Grad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djordjo Peterca to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Mirna FC booed when Grad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saša Kepic didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Mirna FC's Tian Strle got a free kick in the 90th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mirna FC had won after a very even match.
