Spectators: 7903 (Terracing: 6001, Seating: 1872, VIP seats: 30) Omar Požeg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A sloppy throw-in by Davide Gicić in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cerkno MNK's Krsta Hvala. Borislav Semprimožnik made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Avgust Krmelj sent off a good shot on target. Omar Požeg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Borislav Semprimožnik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saško Udrih in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Borislav Semprimožnik saved Gusari from getting behind. 15 minutes into the match, Zijad Štepec notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cerkno MNK's Lorenzo Krempl. Lorenzo Krempl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 18 in the game by Avgust Krmelj from a close distance when the talented Borislav Semprimožnik managed to make a qualified save. Gusari's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saško Udrih in the 19th minute of play forced Gusari's goalkeeper Borislav Semprimožnik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Valter Randl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerkno MNK's supporters rose to their feet, but Valter Randl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Borislav Semprimožnik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Saško Udrih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cerkno MNK's Saško Udrih in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gusari's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Saško Udrih put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Borislav Semprimožnik. Saško Udrih recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Cerkno MNK's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksej Mešič came free, but Lorenzo Krempl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, Saško Udrih managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerkno MNK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saško Udrih was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The crowd rose to their feet as Gusari's Aleksej Mešič slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lorenzo Krempl. That made the score 2-2 after 52 minutes of play. Gusari's Borislav Semprimožnik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krsta Hvala in the 56th minute of play. When Saško Udrih came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Cerkno MNK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saško Udrih couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Gusari getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Tihomir Verderber hit a great ball. If Halil Krašnja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Valter Randl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute Krsta Hvala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borislav Semprimožnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Borislav Semprimožnik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avgust Krmelj in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gusari's Tihomir Verderber got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Andrej Stipanič received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Borislav Semprimožnik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Saško Udrih came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Cerkno MNK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saško Udrih couldn't finish the play. If Krsta Hvala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Saško Udrih sped through Gusari's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Borislav Semprimožnik. Borislav Semprimožnik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avgust Krmelj, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Andrej Stipanič recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saško Udrih in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Borislav Semprimožnik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Borislav Semprimožnik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrej Stipanič's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Saško Udrih sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valter Randl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Borislav Semprimožnik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cerkno MNK's Krsta Hvala got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cerkno MNK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
