Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 5 minutes of play, Vodice ND's Radovan Derča made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maik Stevens was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 9th minute Vasjo Brinovšek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bert Hrastar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Don Prestor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bert Hrastar having to interfere. Don Prestor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bert Hrastar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasjo Brinovšek in the 19th minute of play forced Vodice ND's goalkeeper Bert Hrastar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deny Ciperle's late challenge caught a Goričica FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Deny Ciperle helped the player get up and apologised. Radovan Derča struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Maik Stevens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vodice ND. After 25 minutes, Andi Drlja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vodice ND and the Goričica FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vodice ND getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Andi Drlja hit a great ball. If Vasjo Brinovšek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 minutes of play, Vodice ND's Tibor Španinger made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maik Stevens was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Vodice ND's Maik Stevens threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tibor Španinger, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tibor Španinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Maik Stevens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Maik Stevens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radovan Derča in the 53rd minute of play. Tibor Španinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedikt Rajlić charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedikt Rajlić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute of the match Živojin Kovše sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maik Stevens skillfully saved the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Goričica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Višnjić Biščak to maneuver through the defense. Radovan Derča succeeded in the game's 63rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibor Španinger in the 68th minute of play forced Goričica FC's goalkeeper Maik Stevens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bert Hrastar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasjo Brinovšek in the 72nd minute of the match. Vodice ND were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Goričica FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Živojin Kovše took the corner. The corner led Vodice ND's Živojin Kovše to fire away a dangerous shot which Maik Stevens despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Don Prestor fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goričica FC's protests and gave Don Prestor a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Goričica FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Don Prestor hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute Vasjo Brinovšek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bert Hrastar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Goričica FC's Maik Stevens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radovan Derča in the 86th minute of play. Romeo Luskar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romeo Luskar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Maik Stevens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Goričica FC booed when Vodice ND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andi Drlja didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Radovan Derča had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 98 minutes, Deny Ciperle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vodice ND's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deny Ciperle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vodice ND walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
