Spectators: 7931 (Terracing: 6931, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the match, Medvode's goal looked a bit too open when Veno Černač came free, but Anže Sajovec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Veno Černač came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Gremio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Veno Černač couldn't finish the play. Ljudevit Kogoj's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Anže Sajovec skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Veno Černač fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anže Sajovec having to interfere. Vido Kovačević hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Ljudevit Kogojs short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Anže Sajovec to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Veno Černač sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Veno Černač in the 29th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Anže Sajovec kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Anže Sajovec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veno Černač in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Ljudevit Kogoj managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gremio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ljudevit Kogoj was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anže Sajovec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Veno Černač's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anže Sajovec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Medvode's Vido Kovačević got a free kick in the 46th minute. Anže Sajovec was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jon Jankovič. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Ljudevit Kogoj made the kick off in the second half. Ljudevit Kogoj took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anže Sajovec. Anže Sajovec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mesud Mihovec in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miloš Sirnik saved Gremio FC from getting behind. Lan Ivnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miloš Sirnik having to interfere. Veno Černač received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Anže Sajovec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Ljudevit Kogoj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Veno Černač's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anže Sajovec was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Anže Sajovec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veno Černač in the 82nd minute of the match. Anže Sajovec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Veno Černač's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Veno Černač took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anže Sajovec. Anže Sajovec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The supporters of Medvode booed when Gremio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Vasič didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Gremio FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
