Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Stjepan Dermastja got the match started through his kick off. Lipica's Daš Megla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stjepan Dermastja in the 3rd minute of play. Daš Megla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stjepan Dermastja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of NK Idrje booed when Lipica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vjetko Omahne didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th match minute, NK Idrje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasim Barič to maneuver through the defense. Daš Megla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliver Terzić in the 15th minute. Melvin Vorih hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Terzić got free with Daš Megla in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Melvin Vorih kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stjepan Dermastja in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daš Megla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lipica's Alen Višnovar suffered a concussion after 24 minutes and had to leave the field. 24 minutes into the game, Mike Velej was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NK Idrje's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lipica the free kick. Daš Megla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stjepan Dermastja in the 30th minute of the match. NK Idrje's Oliver Terzić got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When NK Idrje's Stjepan Dermastja in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lipica's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in NK Idrje's zone, Žarko Nemanič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurizio Majzelj came out of the goal and Žarko Nemanič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Stjepan Dermastja sped through Lipica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daš Megla. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Kasim Barič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Melvin Vorih fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lipica's protests and gave Melvin Vorih a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lipica's Melvin Vorih got a free kick in the 58th minute. Daš Megla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Terzić, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Stjepan Dermastja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Lipica's Žarko Nemanič ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maurizio Majzelj. Maurizio Majzelj yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. A collision led to Lipica getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Melvin Vorih hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lipica's zone, Oliver Terzić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daš Megla came out of the goal and Oliver Terzić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oliver Terzić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Daš Megla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daš Megla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Terzić in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Oliver Terzić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daš Megla was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Oliver Terzić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. NK Idrje's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
