NK MONT's Miguel França proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save NK MONT from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, NK MONT's goalkeeper Miguel França had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kvirin Zgonc. Miguel França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Vurkeljc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Miguel França successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 44 played minutes Kočevje FC got a freekick which was hit by Tit Markon. Norbert Sešek charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norbert Sešek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th match minute, Kočevje FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Sešek to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Feliks Šenk made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Hristofor Súrbev sent off a good shot on target. Feliks Šenk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Miguel França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Sešek in the 70th minute of play. After some careless play in the NK MONT defense, Kvirin Zgonc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel França. The NK MONT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel França should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the match, NK MONT's goal looked a bit too open when Rajmund Dobnikar came free, but Miguel França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Raphael De Lucca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Šenk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rajmund Dobnikar in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Ervin Slana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
