The Å entjernej ND fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek should have stopped the shot. Chris Pikelj hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, Vasko Purgar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Å entjernej ND's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Šempeter GF the free kick. The supporters of Šempeter GF booed when Å entjernej ND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasko Purgar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Å entjernej ND's RadoÅ¡ TuÅ¡ar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Almin Knific made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 23 minutes into the match, RadoÅ¡ TuÅ¡ar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Almin Knific. Šempeter GF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that RadoÅ¡ TuÅ¡ar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Almin Knific showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Pikelj, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 36 minutes into the game, one of Å entjernej ND:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The throw-in from Milutin Vogrič in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Šempeter GF's 柯默明. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Šempeter GF booed when Å entjernej ND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. RadoÅ¡ TuÅ¡ar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Å entjernej ND's Vasko Purgar got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Milorad Juhart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Brecht Tombeurs came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Šempeter GF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brecht Tombeurs couldn't finish the play. Arnel Stonič scored 5-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnel Stonič in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brecht Tombeurs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek having to interfere. In the 69th minute Arnel Stonič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brecht Tombeurs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek having to interfere. Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnel Stonič, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Vasko Žagar hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Šempeter GF's Almin Knific got control of the ball when RadoÅ¡ TuÅ¡ar tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Šempeter GF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
