Baldomir Mandelc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 played minutes Kočevje FC got a freekick which was hit by Danče Slokar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Argio Mrak during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kočevje FC booed when Joga Bonito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argio Mrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Feliks Šenk managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Joga Bonito's Mihajlo Gomboc fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Đuro Kaloper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rajmund Dobnikar in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Norbert Sešek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Đuro Kaloper. Joga Bonito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norbert Sešek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Kočevje FC's Feliks Šenk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihajlo Gomboc in the 30th minute of play. Mihajlo Gomboc took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliks Šenk. Feliks Šenk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Feliks Šenk made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Baldomir Mandelc sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihajlo Gomboc got free with Feliks Šenk in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Mihajlo Gomboc made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Kočevje FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zvezdan Drobnjaković came free, but Feliks Šenk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Mihajlo Gomboc sped through Kočevje FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Feliks Šenk. Feliks Šenk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihajlo Gomboc, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Kočevje FC's Rajmund Dobnikar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Đuro Kaloper. Đuro Kaloper yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. After some careless play in the Kočevje FC defense, Mihajlo Gomboc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliks Šenk. The Kočevje FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliks Šenk should have stopped the shot. Feliks Šenk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihajlo Gomboc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kočevje FC's Feliks Šenk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theodor Časl in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Mihajlo Gomboc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. When the referee ended the match the Joga Bonito players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
