Muharem Mohar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Đuro Kaloper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tevž Juršič in the 17th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Joga Bonito fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! If Branivoj Borišek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Niko Padežnik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Muharem Mohar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zvezdan Drobnjaković, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The audience was convinced that Mihajlo Gomboc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Muharem Mohar was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Mihajlo Gomboc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Muharem Mohar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Muharem Mohar came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Joga Bonito's Mihajlo Gomboc. But to his dismay, Mihajlo Gomboc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 43 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's Zvezdan Drobnjaković sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Muharem Mohar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mihajlo Gomboc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tevž Juršič recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Niko Padežnik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Đuro Kaloper was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Muharem Mohar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zvezdan Drobnjaković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Mihajlo Gomboc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Muharem Mohar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Mihajlo Gomboc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Muharem Mohar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Joga Bonito's Baldomir Mandelc got a free kick in the 76th minute. Gašper Mihalek's late challenge caught a Joga Bonito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gašper Mihalek helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zvezdan Drobnjaković in the 79th minute of play forced Słowenia FC's goalkeeper Muharem Mohar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Słowenia FC's Muharem Mohar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zvezdan Drobnjaković in the 81st minute of play. When Joga Bonito's Zvezdan Drobnjaković in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Słowenia FC's goalie prevented a goal. Joga Bonito's Mihajlo Gomboc came free and shot a quick shot against goal 84 minutes in the game, fortunately Muharem Mohar had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Mihajlo Gomboc came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Muharem Mohar could save by the left post. A collision led to Słowenia FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Siniša Bogić hit a great ball. The Słowenia FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Joga Bonito's performance. The match ended with a win for Joga Bonito.
