Spectators: 8183 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 183) After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Claudio Vurkeljc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kočevje FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Vurkeljc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Almin Knific breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Šempeter GF's Brecht Tombeurs got a free kick in the 7th minute. Claudio Vurkeljc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Kočevje FC's Feliks Šenk got control of the ball when Arnel Stonič tried to sneak it across the goal line. Feliks Šenk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brecht Tombeurs, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Vurkeljc in the 16th minute of play forced Šempeter GF's goalkeeper Almin Knific to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kočevje FC's goalkeeper Feliks Šenk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Kočevje FC's Feliks Šenk got control of the ball when Arnel Stonič tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Šempeter GF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Almin Knific showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Sešek, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Norbert Sešek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Almin Knific tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Vurkeljc in the 36th minute of play forced Šempeter GF's goalkeeper Almin Knific to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Kočevje FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brecht Tombeurs came free, but Feliks Šenk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Vurkeljc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Vurkeljc in the 55th minute of play forced Šempeter GF's goalkeeper Almin Knific to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Šempeter GF's Almin Knific played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Vurkeljc in the 61st minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Šempeter GF's Arnel Stonič sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliks Šenk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 71 minutes, Claudio Vurkeljc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kočevje FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Vurkeljc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Driton Esih in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Šempeter GF's Feliks Račečič. Feliks Šenk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brecht Tombeurs went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 79 played minutes Šempeter GF got a freekick which was hit by Ecij Fajon. In the 84thth minute of the game Arnel Stonič who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kočevje FC's Feliks Šenk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Feliks Šenk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brecht Tombeurs in the 90th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Šempeter GF had won after a very even match.
